Magazines can damage easily especially when kept for a long time so it makes sense to have these electronically archived for long term storage and safety.

This has recently been done for a large car racing company who now distribute DVD's of every magazine issue since it began publising after the war. This digitising process also offers peace of mind that all issues are kept safely in electronic format reducing the risk of any damage and loss.
